Automotive Management Live: Skywell and BE11 confirmed for E-Street
)
Skywell UK will showcase its BE11 SUV at this year’s Automotive Management Live, taking place at the NEC on November 12, as part of the show’s E-Street feature.
The dedicated area will highlight the latest emerging brands and their electric vehicles, with more models due to be confirmed in the coming weeks leading up to the show.
The free one day exhibition and conference event for the UK automotive retail indsutry features a packed schedule across three seminar theatres, as well as over 80 suppliers to explore, including some of the latest automotive brands like Skywell.
David Clark, general manager of Skywell UK, said the event is a key opportunity for the brand to meet prospective retail partners and demonstrate the quality of its products: “Last year’s AM Live proved hugely valuable for us.
"Having the BE11 on display allowed dealers to sit in the car, experience the comfort, space and quality for themselves, and those conversations helped change perceptions.
"This year we’re excited to return, especially with E-Street bringing the new EV brands together in one place."
Skywell is currently focused on building a strong UK retail network, particularly with established, community-rooted dealers.
While the BE11 remains its lead product today, Skywell will be expanding its product line-up over the next 18 months and the team will be able to speak about its areas like its product roadmap, franchise standards and policy around parts supply.
Clark gave a hint about the route forward for the brand, which will see it partner with retail specialists, as well as dealerships that specialist in fleet and van sales.
Its first in-house developed fully electric van, comparable in size to a Mercedes Sprinter or VW Crafter, will launch in late summer 2025. That will be followed by the “Q”, a family-sized electric hatchback designed to deliver real volume growth for the brand.
Clark added that Skywell’s approach mirrors brands like Suzuki and Subaru, focusing on long-term dealer partnerships and customer trust rather than imposing heavy showroom investment requirements in the early stages.
He also believes Motability offers a significant opportunity for the brand, noting that the BE11’s comfort levels, wide-opening doors and accessibility make it well suited for customers with mobility needs.
Skywell UK recently strengthened its dealer footprint in eastern England with the appointment of three new franchise locations, in partnership with long-established retailers Abbeygate Cars and JS Holmes.
With these additions, Skywell UK now has 13 active sales locations, with further expansion planned for eastern Scotland, Manchester, Suffolk, and Kent by the end of 2025.
