Automotive Management Live is to move to a new venue in 2017
BackMore than 450 visitors, including some of the UK’s most successful dealer groups, filled the exhibition floor and packed the best practice theatres, with many seminar sessions ‘standing room only’.
The event was the first of its kind for AM, with 69 suppliers showing innovative products and services to help car dealers improve their product offerings, customer service and profitability.
Due to the success of Automotive Management Live 2016, AM is moving the event to the NEC next year – on November 9.
Darren Edwards, group managing director at Sytner Group, summed up the mood of UK dealers who attended the show: “Automotive Management Live 2016 was a superb event; it allowed automotive professionals to network and discuss opportunities with some interesting potential business partners. The best practice sessions were informative and I am sure that many retailers would have taken a lot from these sessions. Looking forward to next year’s event.”
The event was launched in association with the National Franchised Dealers Association to create a meeting place for retailers to network, learn and source new products and services.
Sue Robinson, National Franchised Dealer Association director, was delighted with the feedback from the industry.
“We spoke with both visitors and exhibitors and the feedback was very positive, both for the event and the outlook for the industry,” she said. “Forward-thinking dealerships are looking to improve the customer experience from enquiry to aftersales. Automotive Management Live, helps them to see what is new helps them understand which products and services can help their business.”
Tim Rose, AM Editor, added: “We’re overwhelmed with support for our new show. When we launched Automotive Management Live at the start of this year, we didn’t expect to outgrow the venue in just one year. To allow us to showcase more products and services from within the automotive industry, Automotive Management Live will move to the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham for the 2017 edition.”
Exhibitors at Automotive Management Live 2016 included carwow, Cox Automotive, Alphera, Car Care Plan, CitNOW, Cooper Solutions, eDynamix, Marketing Delivery, Supagard, GForces, JudgeService, iVendi offering marketing, F&I and legal advice, auction service, showroom design and IT solutions.
