Director of Charitable Impact, Ben

Chris Easton joined Ben as Director of Charitable Impact in June 2026. He leads Ben’s charitable impact agenda, providing strategic direction across the charity’s support and specialist services. His role ensures that Ben continues to deliver high-quality health and wellbeing support to people connected with the automotive industry and their families, in partnership with the sector. In his role, he is also driving continuous improvement and long-term impact.


Chris has extensive experience spanning leadership roles in the NHS, social care and charity sectors. He has previously worked as Head of Person-Centred Care for NHS England and most recently as Director of Strategy and Impact for NHS Charities Together, the national charity for the NHS. 


Chris’s career is characterised by leading strategic transformation and change, whilst maintaining a clear focus on person-centred outcomes, approaches that tackle inequality and improve health and wellbeing. He has a strong track record of leading organisations through change and delivering impact through collaboration and partnership.
Chris brings a valuable combination of strategic, operational and policy expertise, shaping a deep understanding of the factors that influence health and wellbeing. His focus is on ensuring Ben continues to evolve its services, building strong and impactful partnerships across the sector and maximising impact for people who rely on the charity’s support.


Outside of work Chris is a Non Exec Director of Active Tameside, an award winning leisure trust in Greater Manchester, a Governor of a local junior and infant school and a grass roots football coach. Passionate about physical activity, Chris enjoys playing football and running in the hills of West Yorkshire.
